Office 365 – Outlook: Forwarding to your personal email

If you don’t deal with confidential personal information in your email, you can forward your emails to your personal email. Emails sent (or forwarded) to external addresses, that haven’t been encrypted, move unencrypted in the external network. In OUAS’s internal messaging emails are sent only inside our own network. Confidential emails that are classified as secret, shouldn’t be sent unencrypted even inside our own network.

1. Go to https://outlook.com/students.oamk.fi. Choose settings from the upper-right corner. Choose Mail.

2. From the left menu, choose Accounts and then Forwarding. Click on Start forwarding. Remember to select to keep a copy of your forwarded messages. Type in your email and Save.
