How to deposit money to your Canon uniFLOW account (for printing)

NB. Oamk will change the printing service from Konica-Minolta to Canon uniFLOW in 1/9/2020. These instructions are already for the new Canon system.

As an Oamk student, you can use the students’ safe printing queue. (See printing instructions for students)

If you run out of your account balance, you can deposit more money to your account:

  1. Go to https://prints.oulu.fi
  2. Log in using your students account: However, notice that you have to give it in a peculiar form, unique to the printing service: the form for Oamk’s students is username@kk (don’t use the other option, ending with @student because it is meant for the students of the University of Oulu: we use the same service together!)
    In the login view there are two text fields, User Name and Password. Below the User Name field it says "Enter your username in form: account@student or account@kk. Below the password field is the Login button.
  3. When you have logged in, you can see your current account balance on the top of the page.
    In the Budget Info view, you can see your Current Balance. In this example, it is 2.50 euros. There's also the timestamp for the Last Budget Change. in this example, there are no recharges, but there is a place for them. Below the recharge logs, there are some instructions, e.g. it says that after the payment the transaction takes 1 to 2 minutes to complete and for it to show on the page. There are also instructions for how to handle problems. The terms of delivery are available only in Finnish. At the bottom of the page, there is three buttons: logout, refresh and budget recharge.
  4. To deposit money to your account, click the Budget Recharge button.
  5. Set the amount you want to add to your balance: it has to be at least 5 euros but not more than 20 euros.
    In the Budget Recharge view, you can set the amount on the top of the page to the Set Cash Amount field. Below the field it says the limits are 5 to 20 euros. The online payment provider is Paytrail. On the bottom of the view there are three buttons; logout, cancel and next.
  6.  Click the Next button.
  7. You may have to wait for the Paytrail page to open. On the Paytrail page, choose the language to English if needed. On the page, you can choose to use a Finnish online bank or a credit card. Depending on your choice, you will be either forwarded to the online bank or you will proceed to use the paytrail site for credit cards.On the top of the page, you can choose the language of the service. Then choose the bank or your credit card from the available options. In the picture, there's VISA, Matercard, American Express, Osuuspankki, Nordea, DanskeBank, S-pankki, Säästöpankki, POP Pankki, Aktia, Handelsbanken, Oamk SP and Ålandsbanken.
  8. You can now see the new balance on your account if the transaction took place as intended.
  9. If you experienced problems, please contact Canon by email: canon@oulu.fi. In your message, let them know you are a student at Oamk, your username, when the problem occured (date and time) and possibly the transaction ID if you have it.
